New Lookers

Our address is 27- B Soosayapuram Extension in Rayapuram. It is a bit away from the main busy roads which is nice because it isn't quite as loud here as the city center. New Lookers is where we do all our daily work with garments and packing. The building is a bit older and the stairs are a little narrow when you are carrying heavy bundles of cloth. We have a big table in the center where most of the sorting happens. There are threads all over the floor by the end of the day no matter how much we sweep. We have a small window that looks out onto the street and we can see the neighbor's dog sleeping in the shade most afternoons. It's a simple routine of checking the pieces and making sure the labels are on straight. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone in a suit working here. It is just a few of us in our regular clothes getting the job done. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order to finish but usually we head out by six. The tea here is always too sweet but we drink it anyway because it gives us a bit of energy for the final stretch. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It's a decent place to spend the day.
