Nanjappa Polytechnic College

Nanjappa Polytechnic College sits right on Karumanthampatti Main Road, just off National Highway 47. If you are driving towards Coimbatore, you will see us there. It is a busy spot because of the highway traffic. Most days start early with the sound of buses pulling up and students rushing to get to their workshops. The building has been here for a good while now. We have various departments for different engineering trades, and the labs are usually full of people working on machines or drawing boards. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a place where people come to learn a trade and get their diploma. The office is right near the entrance where parents come to ask about admissions or pay fees. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always cleaning the desks. Teachers here have their own way of doing things, mostly focusing on the practical work that needs to get done. You can see the main road from the upstairs windows, and it is always crowded with lorries going towards the city. People know us in Karumathampatti as the place near the highway. It is a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We just open up in the morning, do the classes, and head home when the sun starts to go down.
