Fashion Clothing Co.

We operate out of Pallakkattupudhur in Nallur. Fashion Clothing Co. is a small setup, mostly just a bunch of us working on garments throughout the day. The area is quiet compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We have a modest building where we do all our cutting and stitching. It’s not a high-tech factory. We use machines that have been with us for years and they still run fine if you know how to treat them. The work is steady and we don't try to rush things more than we have to. Sometimes the weather affects how much we can get done, especially if it gets too humid for the fabrics. We have a small yard out back where we keep some of the scrap material. Most of the people who work here walk or ride their bikes from the nearby houses. It’s a community thing as much as it is a business. We don't do a lot of advertising or promotion. Most of our work comes from people who already know us and what we can do. We just focus on getting the orders finished and making sure the seams are straight. It’s a quiet life and the work is good. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with our families. It’s just a normal local business and we’ve been here for years. We don't need much more than that to be happy.
