Our rice mill is located out in Kangayam, right on Tirupur Road at Vaikkalmedu. The exact spot is 136 Annai Sandhiya Nagar. If you’ve ever been to this part of Erode, you know it’s a big hub for agriculture and milling. At Nalamaharaja Rice Mill Private Limited, we spend most of our time around the hum of the machinery. It’s a noisy environment, but it’s a sound we’ve gotten used to over the years. We process rice that comes in from the local fields. There’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting involved in this kind of work. We aren't sitting in air-conditioned offices all day. Instead, we are on the floor, checking the grains and making sure the bags are filled correctly. The sun can be quite harsh out here in Kangayam, but we have our routine and we stick to it. Most of the guys working here have been doing this for a long time. We know the farmers and we know the traders who come by to pick up the stock. It’s a basic business model that hasn't changed much. We show up early, get the mills running, and work until the quotas are met. There’s no fancy talk about vision or strategy here. We just want to make sure the rice is clean and the customers are satisfied. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk.
