S. Knit Garments

S. Knit Garments is tucked away at No. 32 Muthu Street, over in the Nadupandgu Thottam area near Dharapuram Road. It is a bit of a walk from the main crossing but most people find us okay. We spend most of our time at the machines or checking the finished pieces. The noise of the knitting equipment is something you just get used to after a week or two. We have a lot of different yarns and fabrics piled up in the corners of the workspace. It is a practical setup we have here. Nothing fancy, just enough space to get the garments made and packed up for whenever they are needed. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, except for the sounds of work coming from our building. We have been at this location for a while now and we know the rhythms of the day on Muthu Street. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when the sun is not too hot. It is a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the knitting is done right and the orders are filled. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy talk, we just focus on the clothes and the materials in front of us. If you come by Dharapuram Road and turn into our street, you will see the sign and hear the work going on inside.
