Balaji Fashions

You can find us at number 389/1 A in N. Pudhupalayam, which is part of Nachipalayam along the Kangayam Road. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but it is a quieter area which is nice for focusing on work. We call the business Balaji Fashions and we have been at this location for a few years now. The building is surrounded by a bit of open space and some other small units. We spend most of our time inside dealing with the fabric rolls and the cutting tables. It is not a very fancy setup, just some sturdy benches and the equipment we need. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that, it is just a few of us making sure the orders are ready on time. Usually, we have a lot of scrap fabric lying around that we have to clear out at the end of every week. The Kangayam Road is usually busy with people moving goods back and forth. We get our supplies from the local markets and try to keep things moving. It is a practical life here, just working through the piles of cloth and making sure the counts are correct before things are sent off. We like the pace out here.
