V. V. Knits

Our workshop, V. V. Knits, is situated at No. 461 in the Ici Mookabikai Nagar Extension. We are part of the Pazhavanjipalayam area, right off Dharapuram Road. It’s a location that’s well-known for textile work, and we fit right into the neighborhood. The building isn't huge, but it's enough space for what we need to do. Every day is pretty much the same here—lots of knitting machines running and yarn being loaded up. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office or a big reception area. When you walk in, you’re basically walking right into the middle of the work. There are bundles of knitted fabric sitting around and people checking the machines. Dharapuram Road is always busy with people heading in and out of town, and we’re just a short distance from the main flow. The Mookabikai Nagar Extension is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice for us. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know where we are. We don't do much advertising; we just rely on doing the work and staying busy with the orders that come in. It’s a simple setup, run by people who have been doing this for a long time. It feels like a real local business because that is exactly what it is. No frills, just knitting and keeping things moving along as best as we can.
