You can find Myfashion Clothingsprivate Limited right across from Deepam Printers in Kaniyampoondi. Our official spot is at SF No. 183/1A. We are technically in the Tirupur-Coimbatore area, which is pretty much the heart of the textile world around here. It’s a dusty place sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, but it’s where all the action is. Inside our building, it’s all about the clothes. We have rows of machines and people working on different parts of a shirt or a pair of pants. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, people just know us from being in the area for so long. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and fabric scraps by the end of the shift. We try to sweep up, but it just builds back up the next morning. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands usually have some ink or dye on them by the time we head home. We don't do anything too complicated, just follow the patterns and make sure the stitching is tight enough. It’s a practical way to make a living. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best in this little corner of Kaniyampoondi.
