Katline Fashions

Katline Fashions is situated at No. 15 on Muthu Nagar 2nd Street. This is just off Kongu Main Road, so it is in a part of town that is very familiar with the textile business. The street is narrow, and there are often motorbikes parked everywhere. Our building is a simple two-story structure where we do most of our work. The ground floor is for storage and the upper floor is where we have the machines set up. It is a noisy place when everything is running, but we do not mind it much. We have been on Muthu Nagar 2nd Street for several years now. There is no big reception area; you just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. We spend our days cutting fabric and checking the stitching on the garments. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open, which lets in the sounds of the neighborhood. There are several other small units around us doing similar work, so there is a sense of being in a hub. We do not go in for any big marketing schemes or anything like that. We just focus on finishing the orders that come through our door. The office is just a small table with a ledger and a telephone. It is a very basic way of doing business, but it works for us.
