99 Prints

We are over at No. 2- 1 Vettri Vinayakar Street. It's in Murungapalayam South. The shop isn't huge but we have our machines lined up along the wall. Most days it gets pretty warm in here because of the printers running all the time. You can hear the hum of the rollers and the clicking of the paper trays from the sidewalk. People usually find us easily enough once they turn onto Vettri Vinayakar Street. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. My desk is right by the front door where the breeze comes in sometimes. It’s mostly just paper everywhere and stacks of jobs waiting to be picked up. We spend a lot of time checking the ink levels and making sure the cuts are straight. It isn't anything fancy, just a regular workplace with some old chairs for when folks have to wait a minute. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just sit there talking until it comes back. That’s just how it is around here. We handle the files people bring in on their thumb drives. Some days are busier than others especially when there is a local event. Usually, it's just a steady stream of neighbors. We keep a fan going near the back to help with the heat. It's a plain shop but it gets the job done for the people in Murungapalayam.
