Lavos Undergarments

Our workspace is over at B. S. Apparel, which is No. 25 in the Sidco area of Mudalipalayam. It’s a real industrial neighborhood, so you won't find many trees or quiet parks around here. Instead, it’s all about the sound of machines and trucks moving in and out of the complex. We spend most of our hours on the production floor or in the small back office trying to keep the orders straight. It’s a dusty environment, and the smell of fabric is everywhere, but we don't mind it much. We started this whole thing with just a couple of machines and a lot of hope. Now we have a few more hands on deck, but the vibe is still pretty much the same as it was on day one. We don't bother with fancy suits or long board meetings. Usually, we just talk over the noise of the sewing machines or while we're loading up a delivery truck. The floors are a bit worn down, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’d rather focus on the work than on how the office looks. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to understand what needs to happen next. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do best.
