Mitra Fashions

Mitra Fashions is situated at 18/1 Sengunthapuram 1st Street in Karuvampalayam. We have been working from this building for a good number of years. It is a busy street with a lot of movement. We deal with various types of clothing and apparel. Most of our days are spent surrounded by stacks of fabric and finished pieces waiting to be moved. The sound of the machines is pretty constant throughout the day. We have a small crew of people who help with the cutting and sewing. It is a lot of hands-on labor. The floor is usually covered in lint and thread, no matter how much we sweep. We do not have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by worktables and storage. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, especially when a big order comes in. We try to stay on top of things, but occasionally we fall behind and have to stay late to catch up. It is just part of the job. We do not use any complicated software to track things; we mostly use notebooks and pens. It is a simple way of doing things, and it has worked for us so far. We know our regulars and they know where to find us. We are just a local business trying to keep things going in Karuvampalayam. It is a lot of hard work, but it keeps us busy and the routine is good for us.
