Merwin Garments

Merwin Garments is situated at No. 30 Sri Kanchikamatchi Nagar, right on Pudur Main Road. We've been here for a good while. The shop is mostly for manufacturing clothes for various clients. We have a row of stitching machines and a big table for cutting out patterns. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of fabric rolls delivered, but we manage to make it work. The staff here are mostly folks from around Pudur. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on getting the clothes made right. The floor can get pretty messy with all the trimmings, but that's just part of the job. We have a tea break in the afternoon which is when we catch up on how everyone’s families are doing. It's a friendly place to work, even if it gets a bit hot in the summer months. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to finish the day's work and make sure the customer is okay with what we've produced. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were reliable. We've kept it simple like that since the day we opened our doors on Pudur Main Road. We just keep sewing and packing every day without making a big fuss about things. It is just a normal local garment business.
