Spt Garments

You can find Spt Garments at No. 34- C 1st Floor Maruthachalapuram Main Road. Being on the first floor is okay, though carrying rolls of cloth up the stairs is a real workout sometimes. We have a good view of the main road from the front windows. You can see the traffic and the shops across the street all day long. It gets pretty loud with the horns and the people shouting, but that’s just how it is around here. Inside, we have rows of machines and a lot of thread everywhere. It’s never really quiet inside either, because there is always someone sewing or cutting something. We try to keep things organized, but when we are busy, the fabric starts piling up on the tables and it looks a bit messy. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when we take a short break in the afternoon. Usually, we are here from early morning until the sun goes down. The light is actually quite good in the mornings for seeing the stitches. People often miss our entrance because the sign is a bit small and hidden, but once they come up the stairs, they see what we are doing. It’s a plain workspace, nothing special to look at, just a lot of work getting finished every day. We’ve been at this address for a bit and we know the neighbors well.
