Mars Garments

We’ve been at 83 P. N. Road for a while now. Tirupur is a busy place for clothes and we are right in the middle of it. Mostly we deal with stitching and getting orders out on time. It gets loud here with the machines but that's just how it is. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to do. Sometimes it's a mess when big shipments come in, but we manage to get through it. My father started this and now we just keep it going. We don't have a fancy office or anything. It's just a workshop with fabric everywhere. You might see us drinking tea outside when the power goes off. It happens sometimes. We mostly make stuff that people wear every day. Nothing too complicated. If you walk down P. N. Road, you'll see a lot of shops like ours, but we've been here long enough that most neighbors know us. We try to keep the quality decent because if we don't, people won't come back. It's simple logic really. The weather gets hot in Tamil Nadu, so the fans are always on. We stay busy through the summer especially. If you're looking for us, look for the blue gate. It’s usually open during the day unless we’re loading a truck. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we are on the floor checking the needles and threads. The tea stall across the street is where we usually take our breaks. It's a good spot to catch up.
