Red Sun Fashion

Red Sun Fashion is located on the first floor at Sie No. 9 in P. V. Nagar. If you’re driving down Nyruthi School Road, you might miss the turn towards Mannarai Uthukuli Road if you aren't looking closely. It’s an industrial sort of area. We have the sewing machines running most of the day. The sound of the needles is just part of the background here. Being on the first floor means we carry a lot of fabric rolls up the stairs. It’s good exercise, I guess. We make various types of clothing. There are piles of cuttings and thread bits on the floor by evening. The workers here are mostly local people from around Tiruppur. We don't have a big management team or anything polished. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We open the windows, but then you hear all the school kids nearby. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy catalog. We just show people the actual garments we are working on. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just try to keep the quality decent and the deliveries on time. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when a big order is due. But we like the work. It’s what we know how to do best. It gets messy and loud but we like it.
