You can find us over at the Romax Building, right on Uttukuli Main Road. We’re in No. 1- A, which is pretty easy to spot once you get to the Karumarampalayam area. The road gets really busy with trucks and bikes going toward Mannarai Post. It’s a loud spot, but we’re used to the traffic noise by now. We spend most of the day sorting through different styles and checking the seams. The building is older, but it’s sturdy. We have a few big tables where we lay everything out to inspect it. It’s not a polished retail space; it’s more of a place where the actual work happens. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we grab a break when we can. Sometimes the weather gets really humid, and the fabric feels heavy, but we keep the fans on high. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn’t even have to look at the address anymore. He just drops the mail and moves on. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. If the clothes look good and they’re put together right, then we’ve done our part for the day. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. No one here is trying to be anything other than a worker getting the job done.
