Priyanka Knit Fashions

Our place is right on the main road of Sathiya Colony, tucked in at door number 3/819. If you find the Sangavi Hospital, you’re basically there because we are directly opposite to it in Mannarai. It’s a handy landmark for people coming to see us for the first time. Priyanka Knit Fashions has been running out of this spot for a while now. It’s usually pretty noisy outside with the traffic and people going to the hospital, but we’re used to it. Inside, things are mostly organized, though some days the fabric stacks get a bit high. We do a lot of knitting work here. It’s a hands-on kind of job, so our hands are always busy. We aren't trying to be some big fancy factory or anything like that. It’s just us working hard to finish the orders on time. Some days the machines run all day long. We keep the doors open mostly to let a bit of a breeze in. The neighborhood is okay, and being near the hospital means there’s always someone passing by. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for folks to find the right door. It’s a simple setup. We just show up, do the work, and go home when it’s finished. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when things quiet down for a minute. The tea stall is only a few doors down.
