Our company, Jaas Garments Pvt. Ltd., is situated in Shristhal Modern City, No. 228, on Uthukuly Road in Mannarai. It’s a fairly modern area compared to some of the older parts of town. We have a good setup here for making clothes. The building is clean and we try to keep it organized, though it gets messy when we’re in the middle of a big production run. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do a solid job and make sure everyone gets paid on time. We handle everything from cutting the fabric to the final packing. It’s a lot of steps and sometimes things go wrong, but we fix it and keep moving. We don’t use a lot of fancy management speak or buzzwords. We just talk to each other and figure things out. Our staff are mostly local people from around the Mannarai area. The road outside can get a bit congested during peak hours, but it’s a good location overall for logistics. We’ve been at this for a while now and have seen many styles come and go. We just adapt and keep the machines running. It’s a practical business for practical people. No big secrets, just sewing and shipping. We’re usually here early and leave late if we have to, making sure the work is done right before the trucks arrive for pickup.
