Mad Gamers

If you’re walking near the old bus stand, you’ll probably find Mad Gamers pretty easily. It’s the kind of place that stays a bit loud because of the games and the people hanging out. We aren't a big corporate chain, just a local spot where people come to play or talk about what’s coming out next. The chairs are well-used and the controllers have seen better days, but everything works. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting the consoles or helping someone get through a tough level. The location near the bus stand means we get all sorts of people walking in, some just passing through and others who are here every single day after school or work. It’s not a fancy place with expensive decor. We have some posters on the walls and the lighting is kept a bit low because it’s better for the screens. Sometimes the air gets a bit stuffy when it’s full of people, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes from the street. We don’t have a formal way of doing things. If someone wants to play, they just find a spot. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially on weekends, but that’s the way a gaming place should be. We’re just here to keep the machines running and make sure there’s always something new to try out.
