Makro Fashions

Makro Fashions operates out of Shed No. 60 in the Tekic Tea Nagar area of Mudhalipalayam. It is exactly what it sounds like—a big metal shed where we do all our fashion work. It can get pretty loud when the rain hits the roof, but we are used to it by now. Mudhalipalayam is a busy place for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other sheds doing similar things. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come to Shed No. 60, you’ll likely find us right there on the floor working. Makro Fashions isn't about looking fancy. We are about getting the orders out on time. The space is big and open, which is good for moving the fabric around. We have a few long tables and a lot of machines. It gets a bit dusty, and we have to clean up every evening before we head home. We’ve been at Tekic Tea Nagar for a few years and we know the other business owners around here. It’s a community of people just trying to make things. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy logos. We just rely on the work we do every day. It’s a simple way of running a business, but it works for us. Usually, we share some snacks in the afternoon to keep the energy up. The shed is our second home.
