Mahaveers

We’re located on the main road that goes from Kovai to Pollachi. It’s a long stretch of tarmac, and we are right there at Kovilpalayam, near the S. Mettupalayam post office. Mahaveers is the name we use. The building is right where the traffic speeds by, so you have to keep an eye out or you’ll drive right past us. It gets pretty hot out here on the Kovai-Pollachi road, but we’ve got some shade and a decent breeze most days. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some benches for people to sit on, and a lot of things stacked up in the back. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. It’s just a local business where we know most of our regular visitors by name. Being via Kovilpalayam means we are a bit out of the main city, which is nice in some ways. It’s a bit quieter, except for the trucks on the road. We spend our days answering the phone and dealing with the local folks who stop in. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a place to work and a way to stay busy. The walk to the post office at S. Mettupalayam is something we do a couple of times a week. It’s just how things are done around here. No fuss, really.
