Our place is located at No. 47 D 4 on the Kangayam Main Road. It’s a loud place, mostly because of the machines that never seem to stop running. We do textile processing, which basically means we take raw fabric and get it ready for whatever it’s going to become next. There is a lot of water and steam involved, so the air usually feels a bit damp inside the plant. We spend our days watching the vats and making sure the colors are turning out right, which is harder than it looks. Kangayam Main Road is always humming with trucks, so we fit right in with all the noise. We don’t have a fancy showroom because our work is all in the processing. If you came to visit, you’d probably see us in boots and aprons, moving big rolls of cloth around the floor. It’s heavy work and it gets quite hot, especially in the summer months when the sun beats down on the roof. We just focus on getting the textiles through the machines without any snags. It’s been our life for a long time, and we know every sound the machines make. We aren't doing anything flashy, just making sure the fabric is processed well so the next person in the line can do their job right.
