You can find us over at No. 20 in the Selvapuram Extension, which is part of the Mannarai area. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads around here. We do fashion stuff, mostly focusing on clothes for the families who live nearby. The shop is just a single room filled with whatever stock we’ve managed to get in that week. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is kept. A lot of the time, I’m just sitting near the door talking to whoever happens to walk by. We don't have a website or any of that fancy technology. People just know we're here by word of mouth. We get a lot of mothers coming in to buy things for their kids or for themselves. The floor is a bit uneven in the back corner, so you have to watch your step if you come in. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching on the items we receive. If something isn't right, we try to fix it ourselves before putting it out on the hangers. It's a lot of manual work every day. Sometimes we run out of storage space and have to keep boxes stacked near the entrance. It’s just how it is when you’re running a small local shop. We’ve been here in Mannarai for a good while now and we like the people. They don't expect anything fancy, just a good piece of clothing that will last.
