Magna Apparels

Magna Apparels is located at 20t. K. Colony in the North Extension part of town. It’s a bit out of the main city center, which makes it a little quieter. We have a small factory setup here where we make different types of clothing. There’s the sound of sewing machines running almost all day long. We have about ten people working here, mostly local folks from around the colony. The space is filled with big cutting tables and rolls of cloth leaned against the walls. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. Most of our work is for orders that get picked up by trucks. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend half the morning fixing them. It gets quite hot under the tin roof when the sun is high. We usually have a break around noon for lunch and everyone sits together. There’s no big management structure, just me and the workers. We keep track of everything in a thick notebook. Sometimes the fabric we get isn't the right color, and we have to send it back, which slows things down. But that’s just part of the job. We’ve been in T. K. Colony for several years now and we like it here. It’s a steady pace of work and we just focus on getting the pieces finished and packed up.
