Adhavan Garments

We are Adhavan Garments, situated at No. 87 on T. M. S. Nagar 1st Street. We are in the M. S. Nagar area, just off Kongu Main Road. It is a busy part of town, and we have been part of this neighborhood for some time now. We make and sell garments. Our workshop is not anything you would see in a fancy magazine. It is full of sewing machines, rolls of cloth, and threads of every color imaginable. The sound of the machines is pretty much constant during the day. We do not have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is free just answers the door or the phone when it rings. It is a practical setup for us. The street outside can get quite crowded with motorbikes and delivery vans. We just keep our heads down and focus on the stitching and the finishing of the clothes. Sometimes the fabric deliveries are late, and we have to scramble to catch up with our schedule. That is just the nature of the garment business here. We are not looking to become some global brand; we just want to make decent clothes that people can actually use. The workers here have been with us for a while, and we all know the routine. It is a bit dusty and loud, but it feels like home to us. We are just a local business. (253 words)
