Brocade Exports

Down here at No. 12 M. R. Nagar 5th Street, things stay pretty busy for us at Brocade Exports. Puthur Road is usually a bit of a mess with traffic, so we try to get our shipments moved early if we can. It’s a bit tucked away on the 5th street, so you have to look for the sign or you might just pass right by it. Inside the building, it’s mostly just boxes and tables for folding everything. We do a lot of checking to make sure the counts are right because mistakes just make more work for everyone later. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of packing and labeling and making sure the trucks can get in and out of the narrow street without hitting anything. The neighbors are mostly used to the noise by now, I think. We have a small crew and we’ve been working together for a long time, so we know how to stay out of each others way while we work. On hot days, the back door stays open to get a bit of a breeze through the place. We don't have fancy desks or a big lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us taped up in cardboard boxes or drinking tea during the afternoon break. It’s just how we do things here in M. R. Nagar.
