Surya Knit Wear

We are at No. 1 Lakshmi Nagar East Extension, 2nd Street. This is where Surya Knit Wear has been for a while now. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads around here. We like it because it’s easier to load the trucks without blocking everyone in the neighborhood. Our place is basically a big workshop. You can hear the knitting machines from the front gate. It’s a steady sound that means things are getting done. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know the machines better than anyone else does. We don’t use any fancy management software or anything like that. We just write things down in the books and check them twice to be sure. It’s a very manual process. Lakshmi Nagar is a good community. A lot of our workers live just a few streets away, so they can walk to work. We don’t have a corporate office in a glass tower. We are right here on 2nd Street. Sometimes customers come by to see the samples, and we just show them what we have on the tables. It’s a very basic way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. We don’t see a reason to change how we do things just to look more professional for others. The quality of the knitwear we produce usually speaks for itself anyway.
