Lakshman Yarns

Lakshman Yarns sits on 60 Feet Road, right across from Sitalakshmi Hospital in the Kumarananthapuram area of Tiruppur. Being in Tiruppur, we are right in the middle of all the textile action. Our shop at No. 88 is where we keep all the different types of yarn. It’s a lot of thread to keep track of, but we manage. You’ll see bags and cones of yarn piled up when you walk in. We don't spend much time on fancy displays. The hospital across the street makes it easy for people to find us. We mostly deal with local knitters and small garment units nearby. They come in looking for specific counts or colors. We check what we have in the back and get it sorted. It can be a bit hectic during the peak seasons when everyone is trying to finish their orders. The machines are usually humming nearby. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders. It’s a practical business. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. People just know we are here on 60 Feet Road. We try to keep the stock moving so nothing sits for too long. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We are here every day making sure the yarn gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the deliveries are late, but we just deal with it as it happens.
