K. A. Garments

You can find K. A. Garments over at 4/19 Gopal Nagar 3rd Street in Karuvampalayam. It's a local neighborhood, and our shop is tucked right into it. Being on the 3rd street means it’s a bit quieter than the main roads, which we actually prefer. We spend our days surrounded by fabric and thread. It’s a small operation, really just a few of us making sure everything is sewn right and packed up properly. The building isn't brand new, but it's sturdy and serves us well. We’ve got our rhythm here. Morning starts with checking the orders and then it’s straight to the machines. Karuvampalayam is a place where people know each other, so we often have neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask how things are going. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a marketing team. If someone wants to talk to us, they just walk in through the main door and find us at the tables. The walls are mostly bare, except for maybe a calendar and some notes pinned up about different garment sizes. We like it this way. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We’ve been at this for a good while now, and the street feels like home. There’s no need for big advertisements when you’re just doing your job every day. It’s just us, some cloth, and the daily routine. We keep it simple and focus on the sewing.
