Seagull Knit Wear

You can find Seagull Knit Wear over at No. 58, Avinasiappan Layout. We are in the Kuringi Nagar Extension part of Sheriff Colony in Tirupur. Being in Tirupur means we’re surrounded by other textile places, so there’s always something happening outside. Our building is a standard one for this area. We’ve got the ground floor for the heavier machines because they vibrate a lot. It gets quite busy during the peak months when everyone is rushing. The roads around Sheriff Colony can get crowded with tempos and delivery bikes, which makes things interesting. We try to keep our workspace as tidy as possible, but with knitwear, there’s always stacks of shirts or fabric everywhere. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. Usually, there’s a radio playing in the background while the machines are humming along. We’ve stayed at this address for quite a while now. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all know each other well. Sometimes we help each other out with supplies if someone runs short on thread or needles. It’s a decent place to work. We focus on the quality of the stitching and making sure the sizes are right for the customers. Nothing fancy, just honest work day in and day out. We hope to stay here for many more years. It's a busy life, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep going. We like the rhythm of the day.
