Jenifar Garments

Jenifar Garments is located at 32/259-f Kumaran Road. We are right by the Mosque Road crossing. It is a very busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside our front door. You can hear the motorbikes and the people talking all day long. We have been at this corner for a good while. The shop is not fancy at all. We have some wooden shelves and some metal racks for the clothes we make. It gets a bit cramped inside when we get a lot of new stock in for the season. We do most of the sewing in the back room. It is a bit hot back there during the summer, but we have a couple of ceiling fans going. We do not have a big corporate structure or any rules like that. It is just us working. We know many of the people who walk past the window every day. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask about the weather. We do not do any big promotions or sales. We just put out what we have made and hope it sells to the locals. The location is good because people see us when they are going to the mosque or just walking down Kumaran Road to the market. It is a simple life for us. We deal with the fabric, the needles, and the customers.
