Ksv Garments

Ksv Garments is located at No. 480/1 in the Senniappa Gounder Colony over in Veerapandi. This area is full of textile units, so you can hear the hum of machines everywhere you go. We are just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough that we have our own way of doing things. Our shop isn't very large. We have the cutting tables on one side and the sewing machines on the other. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big order of t-shirts or shorts to finish. We don't really have a front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys covered in lint from the fabric. That is just part of the job. We get our fabric from the local mills and spend our days making sure the stitching is straight. Sometimes we have to stay late to meet a deadline, but we don't mind too much. We usually go out for some coffee down the street when we need a break. It’s a tough business because the prices are always changing, but we managed to stay afloat. We don't use any fancy software to run things. We just use a big ledger and some notebooks. It works for us and we haven't had many complaints so far. We just keep our heads down and do the work and try to stay out of trouble.
