Global Trims

You can find us at No. 5514, Sector 3rd 5/14. We are right behind Hotel Royal Plaza in Semathamman Nagar. Global Trims is what we do. We have thousands of buttons, zippers, and laces everywhere. Being behind the Royal Plaza is actually quite helpful because everyone knows where the hotel is. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many small items to store. It’s easy to lose a box of snaps if you aren't careful. We use a lot of plastic bins to keep things sorted by color and size. The sector can be a bit confusing with the numbers so we tell people to just look for the hotel. It’s not a flashy showroom. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we spend our time counting out orders. The lights hum a bit and the floor is a bit uneven. We have a small table for packing and a computer that’s a few years old. Sometimes we get designers coming in looking for a specific type of trim. We just point them to the right aisle. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. My hands are always dusty from the cardboard boxes. We don't have any big slogans. We just sell the trims that people need for their sewing projects. It’s a simple way to make a living and we like the neighborhood well enough.
