Lucky Knit Wear Tiruppur

Started here in Alvenia Garden a while back. It’s usually pretty hot in Tiruppur, especially near Dharapuram Road where the trucks are always going by. We spend most of the day around the knitting machines. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. My desk is usually covered in bits of thread and different colored fabric scraps. We have a small crew and most of them have been coming here for years now. Kovil Vazhi is a busy spot so there is always someone stopping by or a delivery happening. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It isn't a fancy setup but it works for what we do. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but nobody really looks at the walls when there is work to finish. We drink a lot of tea from the shop down the way. Most days it’s just about getting the orders sorted and boxed up before the sun goes down. The floor gets dusty from all the cotton lint so we have to sweep it out every couple of hours. It’s just how things are around here. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address No. 4/509 and people usually find us well enough. It’s a lot of long hours standing up but we are used to the rhythm of the place now.
