Fina Garments

We’ve got our shop on 4th Street, right off Kongu Main Road. It’s a busy area and there’s always something going on outside our door. We mostly deal with garments, which means we spend our days surrounded by fabric, buttons, and sewing thread. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it by stacking things up and keeping the workstations close together. It’s a lot of manual labor, and we’re often here late into the evening when there’s a big deadline. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just do the work and hope people like what we make. The air smells like ironed cotton most of the time. We know the other shop owners on the street, and we often help each other out when someone needs change or a hand with a heavy load. It’s a practical kind of life. We don’t talk much about visions or missions, we just talk about whether the sleeves are the right length or if we have enough buttons left in the box. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit of a mess, but we just keep the door shut and carry on. It’s a local business through and through, and we’ve been part of this street for a good long while now. People know us here, and we know them, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle most of the time.
