Shivaggi Fashions

Our shop is over on Pudur Road at No. 77 K. Np Colony. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main town area, but we still get plenty of folks dropping by during the week. Shivaggi Fashions started out small and it has stayed pretty much that way. We do a lot of our work right here on the premises. There are stacks of fabric in the back and a few sewing machines that seem to never stop running during the daylight hours. We try to keep up with what people are asking for these days, but we don't follow every single trend that comes along. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get things delivered on time because the road outside gets a bit muddy, but we manage. We have got a couple of regular helpers who have been with us for years. We all know each other’s families and what is going on in the colony. It is more like a small community than a big business. People stop in just to say hello even if they are not buying anything that day. We usually have some music playing softly on a small radio. It helps pass the time when we are busy with the needles and thread. We are not looking to grow into some huge factory. We just like making clothes that people feel okay wearing. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
