Knit Prime

Knit Prime is based at 1 Appukutti Gounder Thottam in S. V. Colony (e). It’s a local spot, and we are pretty tucked away in the colony. Most of the people working here live close by, so it’s a bit of a neighborhood affair. We do knitting work, and the sound of the equipment is just part of the background noise around here now. The building is simple, nothing fancy about it. We have a few machines and a small area for checking the finished pieces. Sometimes the kids from the street play right outside the doors. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation because we aren't one. We just handle the orders that come our way and try to keep the machines in good shape. There’s always someone coming by for a chat or to drop off something. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we’ve got enough lamps to see what we are doing. In the summer, it gets really humid, and we all just slow down a little bit and drink more water. It’s an honest living and we’ve been at it for a while now. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on doing the work and being part of the S. V. Colony community. That’s how Knit Prime has always been. We just take things one day at a time.
