Organic Clothing India

Our place is located at 3/488/10 in Kamachiamman Colony. It’s more of a residential neighborhood, so it’s a bit quieter than being on a main road. We’ve set up our clothing work here and it’s been working out well. We focus on organic pieces, mostly because that’s what we know best. The building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for storage and sewing. It feels a bit more like a family business than a big corporation. We know our neighbors and they know us. Sometimes the kids from the colony play outside while we are working. We don't have a lot of big machinery, so it stays relatively quiet. Most of our work is done by hand or on small machines. We take our time with each piece to make sure it’s done right. The workspace is a bit cluttered with fabric scraps and patterns, but we know where everything is. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come by the colony and ask for us. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep making our clothes and sending them out to people who appreciate the work. The sun hits the front porch nicely in the afternoon when we finish up.
