Klm Fashion

Klm Fashion is tucked away at No-435 on T. T. P. Mill Road. We’re right at the back side of the Andra Bank in the Anuparpayam Post area. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it. We’ve been here for a while. It’s a practical location for us. We do fashion work, which means a lot of cutting and sewing and looking at fabrics. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with threads and cloth everywhere. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our work is for other people who sell our stuff. We spend the whole day at the machines. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. We don't have a marketing department or anything. We just talk to the people who come to the door. Anuparpayam is a busy place for this kind of work. There are a lot of small units like ours around. We know the bank staff pretty well since we're right behind them. Sometimes we have to move our bikes so their customers can get through. It’s a small community of workers here. We don't have big dreams of being famous. We just want to make sure the clothes are made right and sent out on time. It’s a simple life. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It’s just how we do things every single day.
