Aalif Garment

You can find us at No. 2 Tiger Plaza on Azad Street. This is in the Kadar Pet area, which most people around here know is a real hub for garments. Aalif Garment is just a small operation really. We are at No. 98/39. The street outside is usually narrow and full of bikes and delivery carts, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting here during the middle of the day. We spend our days inside the plaza, mostly dealing with the stock and talking to the people who stop by to look at what we have. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bags and moving things around from one corner to another. The lighting in the plaza isn't always the brightest, but we’ve been here long enough to know where everything is kept. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now. It’s a community of shops here, so we know our neighbors well and often share news. We often share a quick meal or a chat in the hallway when there aren’t many customers around. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work that keeps us busy from morning to night. We try to keep the shop organized, but when new stuff arrives, it usually gets a bit messy for a day or two while we sort it. That’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with this many clothes. We don't have any fancy displays or lights. We just put the items out for people to see.
