Awear Textiles

Awear Textiles is located at 27/12 on 2nd School Street in Karuvampalayam. It's a bit of a lively spot because of the school nearby. You can hear the kids playing during their breaks, which is a nice change from the sound of the textile machines. Our building is tucked in between some houses and other small workshops. We deal with a lot of fabric here, so the place is usually full of big rolls of cloth in every color you can think of. It can get a bit cluttered, especially when a new delivery arrives and we haven't found a place for everything yet. We spend our time measuring, cutting, and checking the quality of the textiles. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, so we all have our favorite worn-out shoes for work. We aren't trying to be some massive international brand; we are just a local business trying to do right by our neighbors and our customers. There’s a small park nearby where we sometimes sit for a few minutes in the afternoon just to get some fresh air. The work is repetitive, but it’s honest. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the fabric we send out is good and that we can come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we are happy with it at the end of the day.
