Vertex Fashions

We’ve been at No. 12/15 Karuvampalayam Extn. 3rd Street for a while now. It is just a regular spot where we handle all the daily work for Vertex Fashions. Most days are busy, mostly with stitching and getting things ready to go out. We do not have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just us working hard to keep things moving. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with traffic, but we manage to get our deliveries through. My family started this because we knew a bit about fabric and how to make things look decent for people to wear. We mostly deal with local folks and some regulars who have been coming to us for years. The building is not huge, but it fits our machines and the small team we have here. We try to get things done on time, though sometimes delays happen when the weather is bad or the power goes out unexpectedly. You know how it is in this area. We focus on the everyday clothes people actually use. Not the high-end stuff you see in magazines, just regular, honest work. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the last batch is packed. If you are walking down the 3rd street, you will probably hear the sound of the machines running. It is a noisy place but it feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
