Ryot Natural Farms

Our base is at No. 156 in the RSP Complex, which is situated in Karuvampalayam along Mangalam Road. Ryot Natural Farms is basically a small hub for all the natural produce we collect from local growers. We avoid using heavy chemicals or anything like that, so we spend a lot of time searching for the right kind of farms to work with. The office itself is quite modest. It’s usually filled with bags of grain, pulses, and spices that we’re testing or preparing for sale. It smells really good, like a mix of earthy things. Mangalam Road is always humming with noise, but inside the RSP Complex, it’s a bit quieter. We aren't a big supermarket chain or a fancy boutique. We are just a group of people who think food should be grown the old-fashioned way. Most of our work involves talking to people, either the farmers or the customers who come in to pick up their orders. We don't have a lot of high-tech equipment. Just a basic computer for the accounts and a good set of scales. Sometimes the power goes out in the building and we have to finish our work by candlelight, which makes everything feel even more old-school. It’s a lot of effort to keep things natural, but we enjoy the process and the people we meet. Sometimes we get things wrong, but we always try to make it right.
