At Lakme Exports Tirupur, things are always moving fast. We are located at Number 53/1 on the K. M. H. S. School Road, right in the K. V. R. Nagar part of Karuvampalayam. It's a busy part of town with schools and other small factories nearby. Most of our day is spent around the sound of stitching machines and the smell of new fabric. We have piles of cotton lying around in different stages of being cut or sewn. It’s not a polished office space; it’s a working floor where people are busy with their hands. We keep the windows open to let the breeze in because it gets really warm with all the machinery running. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just take a break outside on the road until it comes back. We handle a lot of shipments, so there are always empty cardboard boxes and rolls of tape sitting in the corner. The school nearby means it gets really loud when the kids leave in the afternoon, which is usually when we have our tea. It’s a straightforward business. We take the fabric, make the clothes, and send them off to wherever they need to go. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations for the building. It’s just a place where we work hard and try to stay on schedule. Everyone here knows what they need to do, and we just get on with it.
