Our place is not a showroom with bright lights or anything fancy like that. It is a working space where we spend most of our time dealing with heaps of clothes and thread. The building has been here for a bit, and it shows its age in some spots, but it serves the purpose. Most mornings start with us unlocking the gates and getting the fans going before the heat really sets in. Mangalam Road can get pretty crowded with bikes and lorries, so it is never really quiet around here. We have a small team, and everyone knows their specific job, whether it is checking the seams or folding things up into boxes. We don't really do much advertising or anything because word of mouth around this area seems to do the trick for us. People know where we are and what we do, and that is usually enough.
