Arnav Garments

You can find Arnav Garments right behind Diamond Theater. We are at No. 39/24 on the 1st Street of Karuvampalayam Extension. It’s a handy landmark to have. We’ve been at this location for a bit. The street is usually quiet unless there’s a big movie playing. We have a small space here. It’s filled with cloth and thread. We spend our days making garments. It’s a lot of cutting and measuring. We don't have a fancy office. It’s just one big room where everything happens. We have a couple of tables and our machines. My brother and I run the place. We don't have a secretary. If the phone rings, one of us picks it up. We get our supplies from the local market. Karuvampalayam Extension is a nice place to work. We know most of the neighbors. Sometimes they stop by to chat. We don't mind. It breaks up the day. Arnav Garments isn't a massive company. We just do our work and try to stay organized. It’s hard to keep the place clean with all the fabric scraps. We sweep up every evening before we lock up. It’s a good routine. We’ve been doing it for years now. Sometimes the light on the street is dim at night, but we know the way.
