Ananta Garments Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away on 5th Street in Vedathalankadu. We are at 6/20- A. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though Karuvampalayam can get busy during the day. We spend our time here working on clothes. It’s what we know how to do best. The workspace isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to operate. You’ll hear the sound of machines running most of the day. It’s a constant hum that we don't even notice anymore because we are so used to it. We aren't trying to be some giant company with a glass building. We are just local people making garments. A few of us have been here since the start. We usually eat lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in town. There's always fabric everywhere, different colors and textures piled up on the tables. It can get a bit dusty, but that's just part of the business we are in. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way during a big order. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If someone knocks, one of us just goes to the door. It’s a simple setup for a regular workday. We focus on the sewing and the cutting. That’s really all there is to tell about us. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
