Agape Knits

Agape Knits is based at No. 12 3 17, J. J. Garden in Mullai Nagar. We are situated on Uthukuli Road, right near Prachi Exports. This area is full of textile units, and we are just one of many doing our best to keep the machines running. Our specialty is knitting, so the whole place is usually filled with the sound of circular knitting machines. It’s a bit of a mechanical rhythm that stays in your head even after you go home. The air is always thick with a bit of lint from the yarn, which is just part of the environment here. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they have to shout over the machines to get our attention. We work with all kinds of yarn and try to make sure the fabric pieces look right, though machines do break down and cause us trouble every now and then. We’ve been in this J. J. Garden spot for a while now. It’s a practical location for getting our goods out onto Uthukuli Road for transport. We aren't interested in being a big name; we just want to do our jobs and keep the business going. Our days are long, starting early to beat the heat and finishing up when the day’s production is done. It’s a simple, hardworking life for the folks here at Agape Knits.
