Rbr Garments Pvt. Ltd. is located out in Karaipudur Village, specifically at S F. 177/3 A1 in the M. P. Mill Thottam area. Our post office is Arulpuram, which is where we get all our mail. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the local roads, but it’s a good spot for a garment factory. We have plenty of space for the machines and the cutting tables. The air is a bit fresher here than in the middle of town, though it gets dusty in the dry season. We’ve got a group of local workers who have been with us since we opened. The morning starts with the sound of sewing machines starting up. It’s a steady hum that lasts all day. We aren't trying to be some high-end fashion house. We just make solid garments that people can actually use. My office is right off the main floor, so I can hear everything that’s going on. We eat our tiffins together in the shade when the sun is high. There is a lot of hard work involved in what we do, and we don't always get everything perfect on the first try, but we fix it and move on. It’s just how things are done here in Pachankattu Palayam. We take pride in just doing a decent job every day.
